As a mother of four, play yards have been indispensable to me over the years. I don't co-sleep my children but the first ~4 months of their lives they sleep in the same room as my husband and I, and the play yard is were they sleep during this period. Also, the play yard is a safe place for our little additions to go to sleep and play away from the other children when necessary (no one needs to be poked and prodded every waking/sleeping moment as toddlers are apt to do with new babies). We had a simplicity play yard that was given to us with our first child but our third child broke the center support (a not so sturdy plastic part on that model) making it no longer safe to use. I could immediately tell that the center support on this model is built much better on this yard. I appreciate that this model is slightly wider giving the baby a little more room. The bassinet is deep enough for the manufacturers maximum limit of 15 lbs. And that weight restriction is perfectly in tune with the size/age that an infant would start rolling over/sitting up making the bassinet unsafe to use anyways. Being able to use the play yard as a complete changing station is a huge advantage over our older model. I have everything I need to do diaper changes right at hand. Though the 3 pound maximum load on the storage unit is a little limiting but, I'm still impressed at the amount of diapering products you can store under 3 lbs. Overall, I am extremely happy with this play yard.

It was easy to put together. I did most of the work myself and I'm close to 9 months. It is sturdy and I love the design. Only thing I'm disappointed with is I thought it was a musical mobile and its not. Other than that,i love it.

Looks like the pic, the immobile mobile wasn't an issue 4 us at 1st, is is minorly annoying that i have to turn it for my son 2 enjoy it while I get 5 mins 2 clean or take care of something but it wasn't gonna b a deal breaker 4 us.
But the changing table-UGH! Our son rolls to 1 side so if a squirming baby isn't bad enuff 2 change, having them roll over adds to it. The changing table is so frustrating it almost overshadows the whole playpen.
We got this so that we could have our son In The rm w us 4 the 1st few months & b able to change him w/out having to walk to the other side of the house in the middle of the nite 4 his changes; which of course we do now so that we don't have to deal w the changer or the diapers not being put on right cuz ur trying to push 1 side of the changer down while changing them : P
Pros:

Lots of storage for diapering needs plus clothes/whatever.-LOVE

Love that it converts from bassinet to playpen
Cute lil mobile
Cons:
Changing table cause baby to roll to 1 side
Pad isn't the softest but it could b our son that just wakes up a lot in this.
